ZBA003.06 – Chuck Kellog, 834 Gibson., Oxford, MI  48371  – Parcel # 04-28-355-033 – ACCESSORY BUILDING HEIGHT

The subject property is located on Gibson, in the Lakeland Subdivision, north of Drahner Road in the R1 Zoning District within the Township of Oxford.  Applicant proposes to remodel an existing accessory building on his residential property.  Approval of this Application, as submitted, would require one (1) variance from the Charter Township of Oxford Zoning Ordinance #67, as follows:

ARTICLE XXII – GENERAL PROVISIONS, SECTION 2200, ACCESSORY BUILDINGS, D. - DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, 3. HEIGHT … Accessory buildings and structures in the R-1, R-2, CAD-VSF, and CAD-RR zoning districts shall not exceed 15 feet in height. …

 

            Required Ordinance Building Height      15 ft.

            Proposed Building Height                                  19 ft.

            Variance Requested                                            4 ft.
