Where to Meet
Meetings and activities are held at the Oxford Veterans Memorial Civic Center, 28 N. Washington street, Oxford, MI. Parking is available at the rear of the building. Verterans Memorial Civic Center 248/628-9056

BINGO
Bingo is open to the public each Wednesday between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Lunch is available for a nominal fee. The funds that are raised support Oxford Senior Citizens' activities. Each Friday, the Oxford Senior Citizens host a luncheon for pserons 55 years of age or more and for individuals with disabilities and their care givers. This luncheon is followed by a "nickel and dime" bingo (three cards for $1.25) with all proceeds going to the game winners.

Trips
Enjoy a trip with friends or meet new ones. Call the Oxford Senior Citizens to see what trips are scheduled.

Cards
Pinochle is played Mondays from 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Euchre is played Thursdays from 1:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M.

North Oakland Transportation Authority (NOTA)
Serves senior citizens (60 and over), individuals with disabilities, and income qualified residents referred by other agencies. Call 24 hours in advance. Reservations for doctor appointments will be taken up to 3 weeks in advance. Dispatch hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Telephone number is (248) 628-7900.

Home Safety Devices/Chore Services Available for Senior and Disabled Residents
Oxford Township currently has a contract with the Oakland-Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) to provide home safety devices and chore services for low-to-moderate income Oxford Township and Oxford Village seniors and disabled residents. Some examples of chore services include housekeeping and the like. For more information, please contact Ann Broecker of OLHSA at 248/969-2713.

Do you know an Oxford Township or Oxford Village low-to-moderate income senior citizen that needs specific services, but they do not know whom to call?
